And my road to 1st lady begins...Lord help us! ;)

So...most of you know my hubby has been running for Hendricks County Council. He just needed to be 1 of the top 3 b/c there are 3 open seats. We have been campaigning for the last month! It has been ALL we've done with our extra time for a month!! We, as well as many of our friends and family, have been going door to door passing out door hangers for him! Well...it paid off! Praise Jesus! He won! :) Yesterday was the primary election. He won a seat on the Republican ballot. Without being confusing, there's a general election in November, and as long as this county votes Republican (which they will), he will officially be a member of the Hendricks County Council! I am so proud of Caleb for going for it, and for getting it! He was an under dog in the race and came in the top 3 out of 6. (The top 2 are 70 and 77 yr olds, and have been on the council for 3 and 5 terms). Thank you so much to all of our friends and family who have helped us! We could not have done this without you!! Yay for Caleb Brown!

Here's the beginning days on the campaign trail. Our kids have done so well being stuck in my car for hours upon hours every day! When we could, we would walk, but most of the time, we would drive and jump in and out of the car...and in and out...and in and out!

 Bailey officially thinks that any time we get in the car, she should be able to watch Beauty and the Beast and go get a donut or milkshake!! :) Great habits right there!!

 The day before the election, the kids and I were driving putting yard signs at the different places holding elections, and God put that in the sky!! :)
